Charanjit Ahuja is the recipient of the prestigious National Award in Developmental Journalism. Before moving to Tehelka, Mr Ahuja worked with national dailies- The Indian Express and Financial Express heading bureaus for many years. He is Masters in English from Panjab University with Bachelors in Laws, Bachelors in Humanities, Post Graduate in Journalism and a Certificate Course from National Film & TV Institute, Pune. While being an active Editor he is also a visiting faculty at various institutes and universities and an author of ‘Print Journalism – A Complete Book of Journalism.’
Manjula Lal joined Tehelka in 2010. In a career spanning 30 years, she has worked with several leading newspapers, including Hindustan Times, Times of India, Indian Express, Economic Times and The Pioneer in Delhi, Bangalore and Lucknow. She has written a weekly column for Delhi Mid-Day and features on a wide variety of subjects. Manjula has also worked for a year with Penguin Books India. She is also the author of the fiction ‘That’s News to Me: A Presswallah’s Journey’.
Abdul Wasey has more than 20 years of journalism experience. Previously, he was Resident Editor of the Delhi edition of The Financial World. He started his career in the Gulf in June 1997 and stayed in that region until July 2010. He worked there with major dailies such as Sharjah-based The Gulf Today, Bahrain‚Äôs Gulf Daily News and Dubai‚Äôs Emirates Business 24/7. He holds a degree in economics from Jamia Millia Islamia, one of India‚Äôs top universities.
