KINAARA ONLINE

‘An online literary magazine for the youth in South Asia and the diaspora, Kinaara will be published monthly and intends to create a safe, encouraging space for experimentation in art form as well as new opinions and perspectives on social issues from youth’

STARTED by a group of young college students in Kolkata, Kinaara is the brainchild of Monidipa Mondal, a student at Jadavpur University, also the editor of the magazine, assisted by Rohit Dasgupta and Anomitra Biswas. The online nature of the magazine, the group believes, will help Kinaara reach out through the scattered South Asian readership and develop dialogue among its different sections. There are also thoughts of bringing out print anthologies of the best contributions received. An entirely self-funded project launched at the beginning of July, the first issue of the magazine can be read at www.kinaaramagazine.org
