Radio jockey hacked to death in in Kerala, investigation underway

RJ RajeshA radio jockey (RJ) Rasikan Rajesh from Kerala was allegedly hacked to death at his studio in Thiruvananthapuram’s Madavoor on the night of March 26. The other person known to be RJ’s friend is also injured during the incident. The police have begun an investigation in the case.

The police have registered a case of murder in the said incident and also suspect the involvement of a gang in the crime. The murder took place when RJ reportedly returned from his stage performance along with his friend. They both were attacked by unknown assailants at around 2 am who came in a red swift car. The assailants attacked them with sharp weapons. Local people informed the police about the incident and rushed both the victims to the nearby hospital at Parippally.

Rajesh succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital but his friend is recovering from the injuries and currently undergoing treatment at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital.

Investigations are underway and police are still not clear about the motive behind this attack.

Rajesh is survived by his wife and son.
