Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s office in East Delhi has been burgled on December 30.
The police are yet to determine the number of burglars who came into the office, and monetary loss incurred due to the burglary.
The burglars entered Sisodia’s office by allegedly cut through a wire mesh, broke the lock and turned the CCTV cameras away before ransacking it.
The staff reported the theft on December 30 morning when they came in. Soon after a police team arrived with a dog squad and forensic team.
Some material from the reception area of the office has been stolen, which is in the process of being shifted. The burglary was expected to have taken place late on December 29 night.
